This Common beat is fresh. It’s been one of my favorites since it came out on his album, “Resurrection” back in ’94. I wrote to it after spending a few hours with some friends listening to beats by the homies, DJ Wreckloose and kBEe. When I got home I was inspired and put this beat on. I started thinking about family and friends and wanted to share the feeling. I stayed up most of the night writing “Love Letter.” |
